Growing Up

Here are the boys Spring 2009 school pictures. Just amazing how quickly they are growing up and that they aren't babies anymore. It's hard to believe that Mason will be turning 3 next month and Jack will be 4 1/2! Wow! Where has the time gone?!?!?

Don't let this sweet little face fool you....he too has an ornery side!
Almost looks like a HS picture pose!!!
My big boys!

P.S. Those of you in my family who have NOT gotten a copy of the boys together, it's being put in the mail to you soon! I promise! Just a bit behind in getting them out (can't imagine why!)

In Honor Of Spring!

It's the first day of Spring - Yipee! So I decided to spruce things up a bit on my own and create a new Header. It turned out Okay but now it's got me inspired to see what else I can do on my own. (Sorry Amanda, I saved the old Header though just incase I want to back to my Blog Savy one).

Orange Park

We have a park within walking distance of our house that the boys call THE ORANGE PARK. This past weekend Tim loaded the boys and I up for a little playtime (well the boys played, I sat stationery in a canvas chair just trying to keep my pain at bay for a short period of time).

With my camera in hand, these were a few of the pictures that I was able to get that are worth showing off - man is it hard to get good pictures when YOU aren't moving and your subjects are CONSTANTLY!!!

Chicken Dance

Not sure where this came from as neither Tim or I taught Jack this dance but he calls it the "Chicken Dance". Even Mason gets in on the action and struts his stuff. We think it's quite a hoot!

SLOWLY Becoming Myself Again

I am glad to say that today is the first day since 2/26 that I can say I feel a bit like myself again. A handful of wonderful freak complications following my surgery has had me pretty much laid up until this past weekend. But, thanks to the internet and a finding that a Chiropractor could help me through one of the issues had headed me in the right direction.

Tim and the boys have been such wonderful troopers through all of this. The boys have understood that "Mommy doesn't feel good and that the medicines that the Drs gave me gave me horrible headaches" and Tim has worn my "Mommy Hat" quite well for the past 3 weeks (Thanks Honey, I owe you big time!)

So "Our Life As Riley" will come to life again and I will post some pictures that I took this past weekend at an outing to our local park as well as a couple of funny videos that I was able to take BEFORE I really started to feel like __________ (you fill in the blank, I have plenty of words to describe it though).

Today is better than yesterday and tomorrow will only be better! THAT I am sure of.
